Part I. Feasibility Study
INTRODUCTION
Its tagline, “Serving value meals worth sharing”, will serve as evidence
that our team not only provides you with affordable, convenient meals, but also
nutritious options that you can share with your coworkers, friends, and
classmates.
With the use of color psychology, the owners added the distinctive
accents to the business logo. The owners aim to offer their clients a sense of
comfort, diversity, and familiarity, which is why they drew inspiration for the
logo’s color scheme from the “Netflix” logo. Aside from that, “Black” is a color
that is frequently linked to exclusivity, elegance, and luxury. “Red” is frequently
described as a strong, attention-grabbing color that also increases appetite. The
colors listed above are the most striking and thus the greatest options for the
business logo.
1
Name of the Owners
The Bite Box isn't your ordinary food shop. It is proudly owned and
operated by Nicole Adolfo, Chantel Ruecille Bargamento, Ashley Federis, and
Rica Rollan. Each of them brings something special to the table, making The
Bite Box a place filled with delicious food, friendly faces, and a whole lot of heart.
Ms. Rollan will oversee the heart of the business: meal preparation
and quality control. She’ll manage ingredients inventory and orders,
ensuring cost effectiveness for the budget -conscious customers.
Additionally, she’ll be responsible for creating and maintaining the menu, as
well as developing the packaging and delivery logistics for the door-to-door
service.
Ms. Federis will be the friendly face and voice of “The Bite Box”.
She’ll handle customer orders and inquiries across phone, email, and
Facebook, ensuring timely deliveries and overall customer satisfaction.
Ashley will also manage a customer relationship management system to
track orders and preferences, and can develop loyalty programs or
promotions to keep customers coming back for more.
Ms. Bargamento will ensure the financial health of “The Bite Box”.
She’ll manage the company finances, including budgeting, bookkeeping
and payroll. Ruecille will also track sales and analyze the profitability of
different menu items, providing vital information for future decisions.
Additionally, she will prepare financial reports for all the owners and identify
opportunities to save on costs and improve financial efficiency.
2
To ensure smooth operations, everyone pitches in for the Human
Resources (HR) department. This means all the owners share the responsibility
for recruiting and hiring new team members, fostering positive employee
relations, and providing training and development opportunities. This
collaborative approach enables the team to leverage each other's strengths and
build a strong, motivated team that keeps "The Bite Box" running like a well-
oiled machine.
➢ Your (practical) vision regarding the size and nature of your business.
➢ The level of control you wish to have.
➢ The level of “structure” you are willing to deal with.
➢ The business’s vulnerability to lawsuits.
➢ Tax implications of the different organizational structures.
➢ Expected profit (or loss) of the business.
(Indeed Editorial Team, 2023) What are the five forms of business
organizations?
The five forms of business organizations include the following:
● Partnership
● Corporation
● Sole proprietorship
● Cooperative
● Limited liability company
The Bite Box is owned by four students who are passionate about what
they do, especially about food. The Bite Box will be established with the
business organization of Partnership.
Advantages of a Partnership:
3
● Easy to establish: Partnerships are less complicated to set up legally and
with less paperwork than other business forms.
● Partners can combine expertise: When there are several like-minded
people, there are more opportunities for them to develop their collaborative
skill set.
● Distributed workload: In partnerships, individuals normally divide tasks
among themselves so that no one person has to perform all the labor.
Disadvantages of a Partnership
4
Location
The Bite Box storage and kitchen will be located at P. Rodriguez St.
Poblacion, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. A perfect location for this business as this is
very accessible to Church, Schools, Park, and the Public Market.

Several studies have examined the relationship between breakfast
consumption and academic performance in scholars. These studies have
established that skipping breakfast can have negative effects on behavior,
cognitive performance, and academic achievement Adolphus, K., Lawton, C. L.,
& Dye, L. (2013). However, the majority of the student population usually goes
to school without having breakfast due to insufficient time to prepare.

Part II. The Business Plan
INTRODUCTION
“THE BITE BOX” shines as a light of convenience and delicious brilliance
in a time when life moves at an unrelenting pace. In this document, we lay out
our objectives along with a business description. Our primary goal is to offer
convenient, budget-friendly, and nutritious meals to people who are busy,
including students, working individuals, and others. Our goal is to be the go-to
option for nutritious, quick-service meals.
33
MARKETING PLAN
Our product is categorized into three: Silog meals, frozen meals, and
Filipino favorites.
A. Silog Meals
Hotsilog: A classic Filipino breakfast dish that features garlic fried rice as its
base, topped with juicy hotdogs and a sunny-side up fried egg. The simplicity of
the dish is complemented by colorful sides like banana ketchup for dipping and
atchara, a pickled papaya relish, for a tangy touch.
Tocilog: A traditional Filipino breakfast dish that features savory garlic fried rice
(Sinangag) as its base, topped with sweet and salty cured pork (Tocino). A
sunny-side up fried egg adds richness, while sliced tomatoes and cucumbers
offer a refreshing touch.
Bangsilog: A classic Filipino breakfast dish that features crispy milkfish, savory
garlic fried rice, and a sunny-side up fried egg. The milkfish is typically deboned
and deep-fried until it has a crispy, golden-brown exterior.
34
The fried rice is made with leftover cooked rice and garlic, giving it a savory
flavor. The fried egg adds a touch of richness and creaminess to the dish. This
meal is complemented by a fiery side of kimchi, adding a delightful kick of spice.
Porksilog: A classic Filipino breakfast that combines savory and salty flavors.
It features a base of Sinangag, delicious garlic fried rice, topped with a protein
superstar - tapa. Tapa is a cured pork cutlet, marinated and pan-fried until crisp
on the outside and juicy inside. A perfectly fried egg, sunny-side up, adds
richness and creaminess to complete the plate. It is served with kimchi and
sliced tomatoes and cucumbers for a refreshing touch.
Tapsilog: A beloved Filipino breakfast dish that combines savory, salty, and
slightly sweet flavors to create a satisfying morning meal. The hero of the dish
is tapa, a thinly sliced cured beef that is marinated and then pan-fried until crisp
around the edges. This flavorful protein is paired perfectly with garlic fried rice,
known as Sinangag. The rice is stir-fried with chopped garlic until fragrant and
slightly golden brown. A fried egg, usually sunny-side up, completes the dish
and adds richness. Kimchi and sliced tomatoes with cucumbers are served
alongside the Tapsilog.
B. Frozen Meals
A selection of convenient frozen meals perfect for busy schedules and for
individuals who do not have enough time to prepare or cook for their meals.
Each meal comes in microwaveable and reusable bento boxes and requires
reheating at home, making them a time-saving and delicious option. Here are
some frozen meals we offer highlighting their Go, Grow, and Glow components:
Chicken Stir Fry with Rice & Cashews: For a quick and flavorful lunch or
dinner solution, we offer a frozen Chicken Stir Fry with Rice and Cashews. This
satisfying meal is packed with protein, vegetables, and healthy fats, making it a
perfect example of Go, Grow, and Glow in action. Lean protein from chicken
and carbohydrates from rice ensure you're fueled and ready to take on the rest
of your day. Chicken also provides essential protein for muscle growth and
repair. The stir-fried vegetables offer vital vitamins and minerals, while the
cashews add a delightful touch of healthy fats. Simply reheat your frozen stir fry
35
according to the package instructions and enjoy a delicious and nutritious meal
in no time.
For a light and refreshing lunch option, we offer Chickpea Salad Sandwiches.
Packed with protein and fiber from chickpeas, these sandwiches will keep you
feeling full and satisfied throughout your afternoon. Chickpeas are also a great
source of plant-based protein, essential for building and maintaining muscle.
The salad mixture, which may include vegetables like celery and carrots, adds
a boost of vitamins and minerals for a well-rounded meal. Simply grab a frozen
Chickpea Salad Sandwich, reheat it according to the package instructions, and
enjoy a delicious and healthy lunch on the go.
Crispy Fried Chicken served with Steamed Rice & a Piece of Banana:
Tender chicken pieces are coated in a light batter and fried to golden perfection.
Served with fluffy steamed rice, a perfect base for the crispy chicken. A side of
banana adds a touch of sweetness and balances the savory flavors, making it
a truly satisfying meal.
C. Filipino Favorites
Chicken Adobo with White Rice and Sauteed Vegetables: This iconic
Filipino dish features tender chicken marinated and simmered in a savory soy
sauce, vinegar, garlic, and peppercorn broth (adobo). It's served with fluffy white
rice, a perfect canvas for soaking up the flavorful sauce. Sauteed vegetables
add a refreshing and colorful counterpoint, providing a well-balanced and
satisfying meal.
Sisig with Brown Rice and Pickled Vegetables: This sizzling dish is a true
crowd-pleaser. Savory chopped pork face and ears are seasoned with onions,
chilies, and calamansi (a citrus fruit) for a tangy flavor profile.

POTENTIAL COMPETITORS
The Bite Box faces competition from various establishments in the Lapu-
Lapu City foodservice market. Here are the potential competitors categorized
by their offerings:
• Jollibee and Mang Inasal: These popular chains offer quick and
affordable meals, similar to The Bite Box's value proposition. However,
The Bite Box can differentiate itself by focusing on:
Healthier Options: Using fresh ingredients and offering meals with
a better balance of protein, carbohydrates, and healthy fats.

The Bite Box offers a wider selection of Silog meals, frozen meals,

PRICING STRATEGY
38
Understanding the Market
• Budget-Conscious Customers: The pricing structure recognizes the
budget constraints of busy individuals and students, a core target market
for The Bite Box.
• Young Professionals: While young professionals might have slightly more
flexibility, The Bite Box acknowledges their value-driven decision-making
when it comes to dining.
Competitive Landscape
The Bite Box conducts regular analyses of competitor pricing for similar
establishments offering Silog meals, frozen meals, and Filipino comfort food.
Their goal is to maintain a competitive edge, offering prices that are either
slightly lower or at par with competitors, while emphasizing the superior quality
and convenience they provide.
Pricing Structure
• Silog Meals (₱49 - ₱79): As breakfast staples, Silog meals are the most
affordable option. Prices will vary slightly based on the protein choice (e.g.,
Tocino might be slightly higher than Bangus).
• Frozen Meals (₱69 - ₱79): These pre-cooked and frozen meals offer a
convenient and budget-friendly solution for lunch or dinner. Pricing
considers both ingredient costs and preparation time.
• Filipino Favorites (₱79 - ₱119): Classic Filipino comfort food dishes are
priced slightly higher due to potentially higher-cost ingredients and more
elaborate cooking methods.
39
customer-centric pricing policy allows the owners to offer affordability while
fostering sustainable growth for the business.

City and CTU-Main Campus premises.

customers with discounts or free meals, encouraging repeat business.
Location-Based Marketing
• Signage and Flyers: Utilize eye-catching signage outside the store and

resourcefulness. Our material requirements are our (packaging) meal cartoon
boxes, microwaveable boxes, and ingredients.

primary method of distributing our food items is by online shipping; we will also
