service centre. After repair they would be brought back and fitted in the

Elecon Engineering Company Limited, V. V. Nagar, Gujarat has been awarded the work of construction of wagon
tipplers at NTPC Kahalgaon, as a turnkey project by NTPC Ltd. Vide LOA no. 4752 dt. 16/10/06 & 4753 dt.
16/10/06, of which the latter caters for complete civil work for wagon tippler package. The entire civil work
pertaining to wagon tippler project has been assigned for execution to Lotus Construction Company, a well
organized civil construction agency of Vijayawada (A.P.) through ECMM Pvt. Ltd., of Hyderabad vide Elecon W.O
no. T310/CO/1800/4389 dt. 12/06/2008 at a total cost of Rs. 17.50 Crores excluding the cost of cement & steel
required for the project.
Civil works pertaining to wagon tippler package involve – Construction of Industrial buildings, underground
structures, tunnels, tippler hoppers, transfer point’s buildings, pump house building etc. Industrials buildings are as
per NTPC’s specification and norms complete with office space, air conditioned control room to accommodate
sophisticated electronic machines, bathrooms, toilets, water supply and sanitary system. They are of varying heights
and area to cater the various needs of the coal handling plant and its control system.
The quantum of concreting work involved in the major civil works of wagon tippler package besides brick work
etc., is around 16,000 cum with reinforcement of varied degree depending on the severity of the structural
requirement.
The Lotus Construction Company is well equipped with fleet of modern machineries and equipments like
Excavator, JCBs, Dumpers, Compactors, Dozers, Movable batchers and Batching plant with concrete pumps and
backed by qualified, experienced and trained manpower in all levels.
Sequential completion of all major civil works of wagon tippler project within the targeted timeframe and desired

dt.21.11.2008. The said compactor was brought to Kahalgaon on 08.06.2010 and
engaged for the civil work pertaining to Wagon Tippler project at
NTPC,Kahalgaon.
On completion of the civil work for wagon tippler project at NTPC, Kahalgaon, the
aforesaid compactor along with all its tools, are being sent to Barwani, (M.P),
loaded in truck bearing registration no. BR 56-0434 ,wide Amarendar Transport
transit challan no. 870 dt. 25.12.2011. To engage the same in civil work being
executed by us at a new site in Madhya Pradesh.

completed by now and as such the major construction equipment—Batching Plant
(Cosmos make), along with shuttering materials (wooden beams) needed for the
construction purpose, are being returned to our head office at 54-18-20, LIC
Colony, 3rd lane, Plot no.69 Vijayawada (A.P) in dismantled condition, loaded in
one dumper vehicles bearing registration nos. AP 28Y 5669 since there is no scope
for further utilization of the equipment and shuttering materials here.
These materials/equipment are NOT FOR SALE or any other COMMERCIAL
