Audit memo dt 22/03/2024 and Rough Audit Note No 2-1/RAN/01/2024-25

In reference to above, it is mentioned herein that, the desired information pertaining to the
Maintenance of Database of Contracts on the basis of applicability of PVC (and without
PVC), as per instructions of Railway Board contained in its letter no 2019-BC-PP 42/2018-19 dt
15/10/2020 reiterated vide Dy.CE/Generals letter no .08-W/977/W-Policy dt 26/10/2020, is yet to
be made available to Audit.
In view of this, the matter may be looked into and arrange to provide the desired details
by 25/04/2024, failing which it will be construed that at Divisional level no such database of
contracts (on the basis of applicability of PVC and without PVC) is being maintained in
contravention to the Railway Boards instruction.
