FORMULATING THE SECTORAL/FUCNTIONAL COMMITTEE OF BARANGAY

DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL OF BARANGAY POBLACION NORTH, PIÑAN, ZAMBOANGA DEL
NORTE

WHEREAS, Section 106 of the Republic Act No. 7160 otherwise known as the Local Government
Code of 1991 as supported by DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2001-89 dated July 2001, provides for the
organization of Local Development Councils (LDC);

WHEREAS, the Barangay Development Council is the planning body of the Barangay Government that
assists the Barangay Council in setting the direction for economic and social development and coordinating
development efforts within its territorial jurisdiction;

WHEREAS, section 5 of Executive No. 27 series of 2008 states the formation of Sectoral/Functional
Committees for the BDC;

NOW, THEREFOR, I, IGNACIO L. GALAN, Punong Barangay of Barangay Pobacion North, Piñan,
Zamboanga Del Norte, by the virtue and powers vested in me by the law, do hereby formulate the
Sectoral/Functional Committee of the Barangay Development Council as Follows;
