COPAR TRAINING IMPACT ON MY FUTURE NURSING CAREER

Engaging in COPAR training has played a crucial role in shaping my future career as a nurse.
There was a point in my life where I doubted if nursing was the right path for me. However,
through collaborative efforts and a strong belief in myself, I was able to overcome those doubts
and strive to become an excellent nurse and a role model in the future. COPAR training has
taught me the importance of resilience by allowing me to learn from my mistakes, enhancing my
leadership and communication skills, and fostering effective teamwork within our RLE group. It
has provided me with a foundation in community involvement and participatory action research,
enabling me to closely collaborate with communities in addressing health problems by doing
nursing process to help the people. Moreover, it has instilled in me a deep sense of empathy and
cultural sensitivity, which are vital in delivering patient-centered care. By actively participating
in COPAR, I have gained the confidence to advocate for equal access to healthcare and act as a
catalyst for positive change. This experience has not only contributed to my professional growth
but also member of our group who is willing to listen and contribute for the group. It reinforced
my commitment to serving marginalized populations with compassion and integrity, and to fulfill
my goal in serving our country wholeheartedly.
PROMOTING HEALTH DEVELOPMENT AND SOCIAL TRANSFORMATION
THROUGH EMPOWERING THE COMMUNITY

My idea is to organize weekly fitness programs and free zumba sessions for the local community,
with a special focus on senior citizens. After each session, we will emphasize the importance of a
healthy lifestyle through exercise and a balanced diet. These programs will be led by fitness
instructors and student nurses, who will tailor the exercises to meet the specific needs and
abilities of seniors. Additionally, we will provide workshops to educate participants about the
benefits of physical activity for a healthy lifestyle. Our goal is to improve the physical and
mental health of the community, reduce the risk of chronic diseases, and foster a sense of
community among the participants. We will assess the participants' physical fitness levels and
their understanding of the activities before and after the program, as well as their overall
satisfaction. This activity will surely help the people and help them achieve that quality cam be
achieve by everyone.
