Bank Alfalah is currently seeking to onboard exceptionally strong and goal orinted
professionals for the the following position:

Chief Compliance Officer-


Eligibilty Criteria:

 Minimum education required is Graduation. Preference will be given to Master's


degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics,
a qualified Chartered Accountant or any other equivalent degree from a
university recognized by the HEC of Pakistan or in case of foreign qualification in
the above disciplines, holds an equivalency certificate from HEC of Pakistan. In
addition, CAMS/ CFCS/ CCEP/CGSS or other certifications relevant to
Compliance will be an added advantage.

 Minimum 15 years of working experience in the field of Compliance and Audit/


Operations/ Risk/ Internal Controls in a commercial bank with at least 05 years of
Compliance experience at senior level.

 Maximum age limit shall be 58 years as on last date of application submission.


Main Duties/Responsibilities:

• Establish mechanisms for ensuring that all banking activities are in compliance with
regulatory requirements and safeguard internal control.

• Serve as Bank's representative to the regulators with respect to Bank's compliance.

• Ensure that AML/ KYC/ CDD/ EDD/ CFT and all Credit, Business and Operations
policies and strong internal control systems are in place.

• Develop strategy and set direction for compliance function by formulating policies &
guidelines that assist the bank in effective management of compliance risk.

• Development and implementation of adequate compliance risk mitigation tools such as


Compliance risk framework and periodically reviewing the adequacy of the risk
mitigation programs/ measures undertaken by the bank.

• Perform any other responsibility as assigned by the Managing Director/CEO/BoD.
