THE VICE PROVICE OF AFRICA OF ST.

JOSEPH
The Vice Province of Africa was established on the 19 th of March 2012 and it is
dedicated to the patronage of St. Joseph. The Vice province is composed of
four countries which are: Sierra Leone, Guinea Bissau, Ghana and Nigeria. It is
made up of 70 confreres, out of which 40 are priests, 2 are Religious Brothers,
28 are students in initial formation. We also have 5 novices and 10 postulants.
The Vice province has 12 communities: Lunsar, Makeni, Kissy, Koidu, Bula,
Bissau, Ibadan, Adamgbe, Ejisu, Krapa, Japa and Accra.
In formation, we have 3 houses of formation located in Ejisu (Philosophy),
Ibadan (Philosophy) and Makeni (Postulancy and Noviciate).
In the area of apostolate, we have 4 secondary Schools, 4 primary schools and
4 vocational schools. We also have 3 family homes, 8 Parishes and 2 Engim
centres.
