With reference to the above-mentioned Bid, NamPower hereby clarifies the following questions submitted by the prospective Bidder(s):

with an international company and still be eligible as a local but should indicate clearly whether the association is in the form of a joint
consultant, or this is reserved for 100% Namibian venture (JV) and/or a sub-consultancy.

The JV consultant will be considered as a local consultant if the majority
shareholder, with 51% ownership or more, is a Namibian Company.
3. There are other request for EOI relating to the feasibility Consultants are allowed and have an option to apply for any number of
studies for the same projects that EIAs will be conducted packages and may be shortlisted for different packages provided they meet
for. Can a company submit EOI for the ESIA the shortlisting requirements of each package as detailed in Section 7:
Components as well as the feasibility studies?
Qualifications of the REOI documents.
Consultants who wish to be shortlisted for more than one (1) package
should complete and submit individual EOI for each package and label it
correctly as instructed in the REOI documents.
