Dear Mr Khalek,
Pursuant to Sub-Clause 6.4 (Labour Laws) and Sub-Clause 2.7 (Instructions to the Contractor) of the
Framework Contract Conditions, the Employer writes to clarify the following:
1. The Contractor shall not carry out any Work during Eid Al-Fitr without exception. Works, in this context,
shall be deemed to include but not be limited to permanent works, temporary works, and any other
Site works, plus for Plant Machinery & Vehicles (PMV) repairs, servicing and maintenance.
2. The above is applicable to all upcoming and future recognised public holidays or periods of rest for
which the Contractor does not have written permission to Work.
