Undertaking

______ who is providing FTTH Telecom infrastructure for Third Party OLT integration in BSNL, will
adhere to security guidelines issued from time to time by BSNL. Any Gaps/Security Vulnerabilities
detected in the network elements of a third party vendor would be addressed and fixed by ____________
on priority.

It is hereby declared that such integration OLT will not be used to provide services of other ISP operators
and if provided all necessary security guidelines will be followed.

The TIP Vendor shall

Declare compliance with BSNL issued Operational and security conditions.

Induct only those network elements into its telecom network that have been tested as per the
relevant contemporary Indian or international security standards.

Keep a record of all software updates and changes. The major updates and changes should be
informed to the BSNL within 15 (fifteen) days of completing such updates and changes.

Take adequate and timely measures to ensure that the information transacted through a network
by the subscribers is secure and protected

Adequate security mechanisms shall be provided in the equipment supplied by _________ so as to


prevent unauthorized access or interfaces to services, calls, protocols and data.

The TIP Vendor, using Airfiber solution, shall not cause, or allow to be caused, any harmful interference to
other authorized users of radio spectrum. For the elimination of harmful interferences to other users, the
TIP Vendor shall abide by all instructions and orders issued by the government.

The use of the network for anti-national activities would be construed as an offence punishable under the
Indian Penal Code or other applicable law. The networks cannot be used in such a manner as to
endanger, or make vulnerable, any networked infrastructure. Acts such as break-ins or attempted break-
ins of Indian networks shall be regarded as an anti-national act and shall be dealt with in accordance with
the Indian Penal Code. TIP’s must ensure that their services are not used for such purposes.

The TIP Vendor indemnifies BSNL against all actions brought against BSNL for breach of privacy, or the
unauthorized interruption of data transmitted by the subscribers.

Any security related activity which is essential and left out from undertaking provided shall be done by the
vendor on priority.
