Blog 1: TechCrunch - https://techcrunch.com/

1. The major purpose of TechCrunch is to provide news on technology and startups.

It aims to list all the latest news on its front page so the audience can be the most

uptodate on tech news on this blog.

2. The target audience of TechCrunch is likely tech and business admirers across the

world. They aim to connect these like minded people on the same site.

3. The unique value of TechCrunch seems to be delivering the latest news on its

front page. The most important news from the past 24 hours seems to be listed up

at the top then from the most recent news it goes down listing all tech and

business news from the past day.

4. The blog is easy to read because it has a simple white background with letters

being black making it easily readable with headlines being in big and clear fonts.

5. As you are scrolling through the front page you can skip articles you do not wish

to read and click on ones you are interested in. This makes finding worthwhile

information easy.

6. One thing I would mimic from TechCrunch is the simplistic layout with the

headlines being big and clear fonts and articles listed in the middle. Also other

important links on the sides such as the login and other important information.

Blog 2: Muscle and Fitness - https://www.muscleandfitness.com/

1. The purpose of Muscle and Fitness is to provide a variety of different content on

fitness and a healthy lifestyle. There are guides from workout routines to

nutritional information.

2. The intended audience of Muscle and Fitness are gym and health enthusiasts and

also anyone who wants to get into fitness and a healthy lifestyle can access the

blog to follow guides.

3. One unique value for the blog is providing a filter feature with dropdown menus

that allows you to find the right type of exercise for you. This filter is based on

skill level, exercise type, body part and equipment.

4. The blog is easy to read with a white background, big headlines in black letters

with clear fonts.

5. Yes, worthwhile information is easy to find because everything is sectioned off

with big headlines and you can skip information you do not need and click on

links you wish to learn more about.

6. One thing I would mimic is the drop down menus that allow users to filter the

right type of exercise they need. This makes searching for any kind of information

you need so much easier.

1. The blog He Spoke Style focuses on providing information on men’s fashion and

inspiration on menswear.

2. The intended audience of this blog is all men who are interested in fashion.

3. The blog has a unique font which matches its classy and premium style. Given its topics,

this feels appropriate and the blog seems to be going for this overall tone.

4. The blog looks and feels very simplistic with a white background and easy fonts with big

headlines and black letters. This makes it easy to navigate and read.

5. The blog is easy to navigate because it is sectioned off with appropriate headlines and

pictures matching the headlines so it is efficient to find worthwhile information while

skipping information you are not interested in.

6. One thing I would mimic is the use of pictures from this blog. Upon entering the blog, the

user is greeted with a large image accompanied by a link to the article pertaining

information about that image. As you scroll there are several more photos accompanied

to article links that makes for visual appealing articles.
