teacher and
classmates today
I'm gonna talk about
a survival story that
really impressed
me.
This story is from a
movie called "Cast
away"
The story is about
John, a FedEx
employee that had
to took an airplane
to another city for
his job leaving his
girlfriend alone in
christmas.
She give him a
clock with her photo
so he wouldn't
forget her in his job
trip.
He give her a
present and
promised to his
girlfriend that when
he come back they
would open the gift
in new year.
When he was in the
airplane, it loses
control and fell into
the ocean.
Jhon luckily
survived because
he doesn't leave the
lifeboat.
He woke up in an
island and started
to try to find other
persons in there,
not finding anybody
he makes a help
sign with his hands
and the sand then
with logs.
To survive and not
to be thirsty he
drinked the water
into the coconouts
and drinking the
water of the rain.
He used to hunting
fishes and eat them
raw to not starve.
Then when he had
fire he cooked
them.
In a scene, he had
a terrible pain inside
his mouth but he
didn't have any
paramedics neither
a first aid kit near so
he decided to solve
it alone.
To shelter from the
storms he hid in a
cave he found.
With the pass of the
time, his cordure
starts to deteriorate.
He felt alone so he
made a friend who
can always count
on, a ball.
4 years later, he
was still alive and
he turned more
savage.
After find a part of
the airplane he
used that to do a
new raft and
escape from the
island but he stayed
in the middle of the
sea.
In the night when
he fell asleep the
raft started to fall
apart and his only
friend in that island
fell into the sea and
john had to decide
wheter to take it or
lose his raft. He
decided to kept in
the raft.
After a time a ship
found him and took
him to the city and
his friends and
coworkers
congratulated him
for his safe return.
The reason why it
impressed me was
for the hope that he
had to meet up
again with his
partner and his
devotion to his job
but unafortunaly his
girlfriend tought that
he was dead and
started a new life
without him.
