 behind – позаду
 between -між
 in – у\в
 in front of - перед
 next to – біля, поряд
 near – поряд, недалеко (більша відстань)
 on - на
 under- під
 above – над

Prepositions of movement

 across – через (across the bridge, across the road)

 through – через ( through the forest)
 along – уздовж (along the river, along the street)
 around- навколо (around the house)
 past – повз (past the school)
 into – в (Where? – направлення: I put a sheet of paper into the table).

Prepositions of time

At
1) Times of day: at 3 o’clock; at midnight; at 12.30.
2) Holidays: at Christmas; at the weekend;
3) Expressions: at the moment, at night

In
1) Months: in April, in June;
2) Seasons: in summer, in winter;
3) Parts of the day: in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening.

On
1) Days: on Wednesday, on my birthday, on Christmas day;
2) Dates: on 1st January, on 8th March;
3) Parts of Specific Day: On Friday evening, on Monday morning.
