1.0 INTRODUCTION
This work execution plan outlines the steps and processes to be followed by Dacohill Global
Services Limited (DACOHILL) in the repair of insulation for hot and cold lines within the EGPP
(Electricity Generation and Power Plants) Refrigeration & Fractionation Units for PNG Gas
Limited (CLIENT). The objective is to ensure the efficient and safe restoration of the insulation
system.

2.0 PROJECT OVERVIEW


2.1 Scope of Work
Repair and refurbishment of insulation on hot and cold lines in the EGPP Refrigeration &
Fractionation Units.
2.1.1 Location: Inside the PNG Gas Limited’s Egbaoma Gas Plant located at Ebedei,
Delta State, Nigeria.
2.1.2 Timeline: Ref. Appendix 1- Detailed Preject Execution Shedule.

2.1.3 Safety: The repair of insulation for hot and cold lines in EGPP Refrigeration &
Fractionation Units is a project of significant importance, and safety is a
cornerstone of its success. Continuous monitoring and unwavering
adherence to safety protocols are essential to protect personnel, the
environment, and DACOHILL's reputation while ensuring that the project is
executed efficiently and responsibly. In DACOHILL Safety is not an option; it is
an absolute necessity

2.2 PROJECT DESCRIPTION


2.2.1 Highlights of Work Elements:
Provision of necessary repair and installation of the insulation for pipes and
equipment indicated in the P&IDs to ensure a fit for purpose insulation system.

3.0 PREPARATORY PHASE


3.1. Project Kickoff
• There shall be a project kickoff meeting with CLIENT & DACOHILL’s
representatives to discuss project specifics, expectations, and safety protocols.

• Identification of key project stakeholders and their roles.

3.2. Risk Assessment


• DACOHILL shall cunduct and document a comprehensive assessment of
potential safety and environmental risks.

• Development of mitigation strategies and control measures which shall be


effectively implimented, monitored and reviewed regularly by DACOHILL HSSE
personnel.

3.3. Material Procurement


• DACOHILL shall ensure strict procurement of high-quality insulation materials,
vapor barriers, adhesives, and other required supplies from reputable
manufacturers.

• Verification of material certifications and compatibility by DACOHILL and CLIENT


QC before use.

4.0 WORK EXECUTION PHASE


4.1. Insulation Removal
• Safe and systematic removal of damaged insulation materials.

• Adherence to environmental guidelines for disposal.

• Continuous safety supervision and regular safety briefings.

4.2. Surface Preparation


• Cleaning of exposed surfaces to remove corrosion, rust, and contaminants.

• Application of suitable primers to ensure proper bonding for new insulation.

4.3. Installation of New Insulation


• Precise cutting and fitting of new insulation materials.

• Tight and secure attachment, ensuring no gaps or spaces.

• DACOHILL shall ensure responsible handling and disposal of old insulation materials
in compliance with environmental regulations.

• DACOHILL Project Management Team shall ensure effective monitoring of potential


environmental impacts during the execution of work.

6.0 PROJECT COMPLETION PHASE


6.1. Final Inspection
• Comprehensive project inspection to ensure all work meets required standards.

• Verification of the integrity and performance of the insulation system.

6.2. Documentation
DACOHILL shall ensure compilation of detailed records, including photographs, inspection
reports, and material certificates and Material datasheets.

6.3. Handover
• DACOHILL shall ensure handover of the completed project to PNG representatives.

• Presentation of project documentation and any relevant maintenance guidelines


shall be done by DACOHILL in adherance to CLIENT’S directives.

7.0 CONCLUSION
The repair of insulation for hot and cold lines in EGPP Refrigeration & Fractionation Units is a
critical endeavor to enhance operational efficiency and safety. This work execution plan will
guide DACOHILL project team in executing the repair, ensuring quality, safety, and
environmental responsibility are maintained throughout the project.
