Configure PCOnet BACNET/MSTP card

1. Ensure the communication at the same port

Select use pco web bacnetip to change the comport
#better choose com1 because sometimes the software will not intact the changes that has
been done
Select com1 as comport selection inside device manager
2. Restart the software bacset software
3. Choose configure bacnetmstp selection, open the backdoor oem to ensure the comport
remain unchanged.
The software will exit if the comport not same as per detect

Hardware/card side

1. Switch off the controller to attach the mstp card

2. Switch on the controller
3. Wait for a while until the status remain constant and the rs485 remain
4. Push the reset button within 5 seconds or o not more than 10 secs.
5. Wait until the card changes and remain the led status green red
6. Turn off the controller
7. While holding the reset button, turn on the controller, hold until 20secs
#after 20sec the red light status will start to blinking, released the button
8. Wait until the rs485 remain
9. Now the card can be access via factory setting

Factory setting

pcoWeb device instance : 77000

baudrate 38400

4. Connect the rx485 cable to the bacnetmstp card

5. Click read
#the will be read write status
6. Choose disable device instance write, change the baudrate based on requirement
Example : 9600
7. Click write
8. Choose enable and type your new device instance
Example : 160004
9. Click write
10. Click reboot
11. Wait for a while(at least 1 minutes), pull out the cable and restart the bacnetmstp card via
reset button.
12. Turn off the controller and turn On again, wait until the rs485 light up
13. Put on the cable.
14. Configure the bacset
 Pcoweb device instance as the one that you configure earlier as device instance

15. Perform read

If you configure correctly, the read/write status will show as read complete.
Backdoor OEM client status also will show the read response from the card.
