b. Second question

Research Gap

The third paragraph reveal the research gap of the study. This is also involved writing a Review

of Related Literature (RRL) or Reliable Sources that are significant and relevant to the research

paper. The related researches or studies should be within five years from the present year. In citing

your reliable sources, the example is presented below.

Example of In-text citation: According to Qualifax (2022), making the greatest choice for the

students is an important and frequently difficult decision.

Significance of the Study

The fourth paragraph explain how the present research is significant to that problem. The first

two sentences will discuss the beneficiaries of the study. The third sentence will explain the relevance

of the problem to the present research.

Methodology

Research Design

The first paragraph contains the research design which specify the type of research you’ll do

and how you do it. Did you use quantitative or qualitative or quasi-experimental research? This is

composed of three sentences. The first sentence will describe the research design used. The second

sentence will explain why this type of research is the best research design to solve the problem or

issue. The third sentence is a backup because you need to look for other studies that would support

that your research design is appropriate in conducting the research.

Research Locale

The second paragraph consists of the research site which discuss the important things in the

place where the study would be conducted. Explain here why you choose that place or locale. This is

the researcher collected the data. This part can be more than five sentences. (For experimental,

narrate here the process in your experiment.)

Data Analysis

The fifth paragraph includes the data analysis, which specifies the interpretation of the data.

For quantitative research, you need to explain here how to get compute the data such as computing

the mean, mode, or median. Usually if you are using the Likert Scale you will get the mean. For

qualitative research, you will explain how you group the questions and the underlying themes. Look

at the example below.

The six paragraphs contain the ethical consideration that explains the research ideas and

procedures that should be guided by a set of principles.

Provided below is the sample ethical consideration of the study.

Results

The first paragraph presents the introduction of the results.

create a theme.
Theme 1: Factors that students considered in continuing with their current program. (This is
