Documentation Required:
If your pet is between 8 to 12 weeks of age (Please note QANTAS will only accept pets 12+ weeks old) or older
than 12 years, you will be required by the airline to provide a ‘Fit to Fly Certificate’ issued by a vet.
It must state the pets breed, age (or date of birth) date it was issued and state the words “Fit to Fly”.
Please note that they are only valid for 14 days and we will require to be emailed through to us prior to travel.
If your pet is boarding at a kennel, we will require your pet’s vaccination record.

Crate Information:
The airlines are extremely strict about what can and cannot travel with pets. The only thing that they may allow
to travel inside the crate is a small blanket as thin as a towel but it is at the airlines discretion. No collars or
clothing is to be on the pet, however we can clip their collars or leads to the outside of the crate for travel. Wedo
not recommend sending paperwork such as vaccinations or important documents on the crates, it would be best
to send these documents by post.

Information for the Sender:

Pat is required to be at the Virgin Freight Terminal Brisbane Airport at 4:10AM on Tuesday 23rd April.
Dogtainers will have a crate ready for your loading and lodging onto the designated flight.
The Airway Bill number for this reservation is 795-4643 8070 - we have attached a map of the drop off point to
assist your planning.
Please do not feed your pet within 8 hours of the intended travel day. This will help your pet avoid being
travel sick.

We confirm a Dogtainers representative will collect Pat upon arrival of the flight into Virgin Freight
Cairns Airport and provide a Comfort-Stop. Pat will have a chance to come outside of the travel crate,
stretch his legs and go to the toilet. We will refresh the crate the top up his water before lodging for the
connecting flight.

Information for the Receiver:

Pat will be available for collection 30 minutes (approx) after the arrival of the flight at Bamaga Airport.
The Airway Bill number for this reservation is 757-1136 1394 - please take this number along with your
photo ID with you to the collection point. The hire crate is to be left at the arrival airport.
