DESCRIPTION OF TASK
45 minute Written Test.

The topics to be assessed will be:

• Pythagoras’ Theorem Cambridge Mathematics 8 Chapter 3 sections K-M

• Percentages and Financial Cambridge Mathematics 8 Chapter 4 sections F-K

Mathematics Financial Maths supplement

SUBMISSION DETAILS
• Students will write their answers on the question paper.
• Students are to bring with them their ruler, lead pencil, eraser, writing pens, sharpener
and protractor.
• Calculators are permitted in this task.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you reschedule any music lessons or appointments with
the counsellor that clash with the date of this assessment task.
