 Internship Details

Title: GDAS Analyst Intern

Duration: 14 Weeks
Nature of Work: Salesforce, Mulesoft Development

Training Objective: The objective of the training was to make me comfortable with
a professional working environment and learn the practices used. I got acquainted
with Salesforce Admin, Working with Flows, Creating Dashboards, APEX
programming Language, SQL database, Working with APIs, Clean coding,
Database designing, Applied algorithms and various software integrations. The
training and internship period was of four Months in which various mentors and
coaches were assigned to me for constant guidance and to help me learn the new
technologies step by step.

Technology Used:

1. APEX: Apex is a proprietary language developed by Salesforce.com. It has a

Java-like syntax and acts like database stored procedures. It enables the developers
to add business logic to most system events.

2. SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language): Used to search your organization's

Salesforce data for specific information. SOQL is similar to the SELECT statement
in the widely used Structured Query Language (SQL) but is designed specifically
for Salesforce data.

3. Flows in Salesforce: Salesforce Flow empowers you to build complex business

solutions using clicks, not code. There are 3 main “building blocks” of any Flow:
Elements, connectors and Resources.

4. Mulesoft: MuleSoft is an integration platform for connecting applications, data,

and devices. The MuleSoft platform, also known as Anypoint Platform, enables
organizations to build and deploy integrations that connect various systems,
including on-premises and cloud-based applications, databases, and APIs.
5. Anypoint Studio: Anypoint Studio is a graphical development environment for
building integrations using MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform. Anypoint Studio
provides a visual interface that allows developers to create, configure, and test
integrations using drag-and-drop components and pre-built connectors.
With Anypoint Studio, developers can quickly build and test integrations for
connecting various systems, including cloud-based and on-premises applications,
databases, and APIs.

6. RAML: RAML stands for RESTful API Modeling Language. It is a

YAML-based language used for describing RESTful APIs (Application
Programming Interfaces). RAML provides a simple and concise way to define an
API's resources, methods, parameters, responses, and other details.
Using RAML, developers can create a single source of truth for their API
documentation, making it easier to share and collaborate on API designs.

7. Dataweave: DataWeave is used to transform data from one format to another,

such as XML to JSON or CSV to XML, and to perform data mapping between
different systems. DataWeave is a functional programming language that is
designed to be simple and expressive. It uses a simple syntax that allows
developers to write complex transformations using a combination of built-in
functions, operators, and variables.

8. Postman: Postman provides a user-friendly interface for sending HTTP requests

and viewing responses. It supports various types of requests, including GET,
POST, PUT, DELETE, and others, and allows developers to send requests with
custom headers, parameters, and body content. Postman also includes a robust
testing framework that allows developers to write and run tests for their APIs.

In conclusion, my internship experience at Deloitte has been both challenging and
rewarding. During my time at the company, I was able to gain valuable insights
into the world of technology and corporate culture, and to apply the knowledge and
skills I have acquired through my academic studies.I was fortunate enough to work
on a variety of technologies, collaborating with talented and experienced
professionals who provided me with guidance, support, and mentorship. Through
these experiences, I was able to develop my technical and professional skills, and
to gain a deeper understanding of the industry and the challenges it faces. Overall, I
am grateful for the opportunity to have participated in this internship program, and
I feel that it has prepared me well for a career in consulting or related fields. I look
forward to applying the lessons and experiences I have gained during my time at
Deloitte to my future endeavors, and to continuing to grow and develop as a
professional.
