Hakim was all packed and ready to leave for Sydney. The taxi had been waiting for more than half an hour . His wife , Rosie had left more than a year ago after a big argument . He had searched everwhere for her and made a police report but to no avail. After their marriage, Rosie had constant arguments with her mother-in-law who came daily . The sight of Rosie triggered her to find fault with her. She had told Rosie that if only Hakim had married Julie , his cousin . Rosie felt deeply hurt but Hakim was too busy to bother about her.One day, she felt heartbroken so she had left home without a word. As he was about to enter the taxi , he noticed there was a letter. He rushed to retrive the letter , hoping that it would be from Rosie. He tore open the letter, his heart beating wildly. His hands shook as he read the letter. It was from her aunt in Sabah. Rosie had given birth to a baby boy. The sound of Hakim crying whole through out the house as tears of joy rooled down his cheeks Immediately, Hakim booked a ticket to Sabah the same day. He rushed to see Rosie that night. Hakim was relieved that she was still alive and hugged her tightly. He felt quilty that he did not helped her. He also apologised and regretted that he did not set boundaries with his mother That night, Hakim saw his son for the first time. He was over the moon that he can see his first born son. He named him Ivan, after his grandfather. Hakim felt grateful to have a second change to make amends and he was eager to start anew.
