Terminal Objective:
At the end of the training, the participants are expected to educate
students about the importance of digital literacy and critical thinking
skills in navigating information shared on social media.
Enabling Objectives;
At the end of the session, the participants are expected to equip
with basic skills on crafting assessment tools. Specifically, the training
aims to:

1. examine the frequency and duration of social media usage among
students;
2. explore how social media platforms can facilitate collaborative
learning and knowledge sharing among students;
3. identify best practices for utilizing social media tools and platforms to
support collaborative projects, discussions, and knowledge sharing among
students;
4. encourage responsible social media use by promoting awareness of
privacy settings, online etiquette, and digital footprint management.
Executive Summary May 24, 2024

The session began with a short opening program; Prayer and National
anthem. This was immediately followed by an overview of the
importance and relevance of Using Social Media to Impact Students’
Learning in the context of education, highlighting its potential impact on
teaching and learning outcomes.

The session commenced with a brief introduction to Using Social Media


to Impact Students’ Learning outlining its importance and relevance.

The speaker elaborated on key concepts and principles, providing real-


world examples to facilitate understanding.

Practical exercises were conducted to reinforce learning and allow


participants to apply theoretical knowledge.

A lively Q&A session encouraged active participation and addressed


queries raised by attendees.

Participants found the session informative and engaging. They


appreciated the trainer's expertise and the opportunity to actively
participate in discussions. Suggestions for improvement included
incorporating more case studies and extending the duration of the training
for in-depth exploration

The training session provided participants with a foundational


understanding of using Social Media to Impact Students’ Learning
within the allocated time frame. Feedback from attendees will be
invaluable in enhancing future training initiatives and ensuring continued
improvement in knowledge dissemination and skill development.
