Across the globe, environmental pollution poses a significant threat to
Rationale ecosystems, human health, and the planet's overall well-being. Littering and
improper waste disposal contribute to this problem, leading to pollution of
waterways, soil degradation, harm to wildlife, and negative impacts on public
health. In response to these challenges, clean-up drives have emerged as a
proactive solution to address local environmental issues and promote
community involvement in environmental stewardship.

Program/Training/  to equip individuals and communities with the knowledge and

skills necessary to organize and participate effectively in clean-up
activities. By empowering participants with the tools and
resources needed to conduct successful clean-up drives, the
program aims to:
 Raise Awareness: Increase understanding of the environmental
impacts of littering and the importance of waste management
practices.
 Build Capacity: Provide training on waste management
techniques, safety protocols, and organizing clean-up events.
 Foster Community Engagement: Encourage collaboration and
participation among community members, volunteers, and
stakeholders in addressing local environmental challenges.
 Promote Sustainable Practices: Emphasize the importance of
long-term sustainability through waste reduction, recycling, and
conservation efforts.

Target Audience:
Community members, volunteers, and local environmental advocates
interested in tree planting and conservation efforts.

Duration:
One-day workshop (approximately 6 hours)
