Detectors have a common profile with the photoelectric and ionization detectors, but have a low air flow resistance case made of self-extinguishing white polycarbonate. Designed with a built-in dedicated microprocessor, the intelligent heat detector offers a wide range of capabilities to suit any commercial, industrial, or institutional application. Incorporating dual-alarm LEDs which illuminate red during alarm, the detector provides a complete 360° view of device status. The Key Features detector’s dual-alarm LEDs can also be programmed for flashing during quiescent Patented XPerT Detector Base Addressing mode. Built-in Dedicated Microprocessor Five Selectable Response/Sensitivity Modes The Axis Series Intelligent Heat Detector Ten 7-Day Response/Sensitivity Mode Timers incorporates a unique industry method of Catastrophic Failure-Alarm Monitoring addressing the detector. Each detector is Sub-Addressing of Ancillary Functions individually addressed through it’s Dual-Alarm LEDs with 360° View associated base by a patented address (“XPerT”) card. The address is quickly and easily set by removing “pips” on the XPerT Specification card according to a chart supplied with each base. Once the address is set on the Voltage 17-28 VDC XPerT card, it can be slid into place and Modulation Voltage 5-9 VDC locked into the detector base. Max. Alarm Current 3 mA By addressing the Axis Series detector at Surge Current 0.5 mA the base rather than internally to the Supervisory Current 500 μA detector, the all-too-common errors associated with detector removal and Air Flow 0-300 ft/min maintenance are eliminated.
