I am Ms. Ranita Basnet from Dharmasthali, Tarkeshwor 06 Ward, Kathmandu, Nepal, born on
19/08/2003, the daughter of Mr. Binod Basnet. I am applying to the University of
Wolverhampton for enrollment in BA (Hons) Economics and Business. As an international
applicant from Nepal, I am eager to embark on this academic journey at your esteemed
institution. I completed my schooling at Prithvinarayan Secondary School, Goldhunga-7 Nepal,
achieving a 2.70 GPA with the Nepal board in 2020. Subsequently, I completed my intermediate
level (10+2) at Sigma Secondary School +2 College, Paknajol, Kathmandu, Nepal, achieving a
GPA of 3.04 in 2022. I have consistently been a diligent and passionate student.

all my knowledge and skills to its proper development. Nepal is still a developing country and
requires more well-qualified and educated individuals for its development. I am eager to apply
the knowledge and skills acquired at the University of Wolverhampton to make meaningful
contributions in my field and beyond.

Alongside my academic achievements, I have actively participated in the Economics Club at

Sigma Secondary School +2 College, organizing seminars and workshops on economic issues.
This developed my leadership, communication, and organizational skills, crucial for my future in
economics and business. I also interned at a local financial institution, gaining practical
experience in market analysis and financial research. These experiences have honed my relevant
skills and prepared me for the challenges of university life. I am confident that my passion for
