GAP:
For Post Graduate diploma programs maximum 5 Years of gap after last degree. College will require the Resume with explanation
from 1 to 5 years, only experience letter will not be considerable for admission. More than 5 Years Gap not eligible for the
admission.
For Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas, Certificate and Bachelor Degree maximum 2 Years gap acceptable. More than 2 Years gap not

REFUND / WITHDRAWAL POLICY
- If visa gets denied and/or refusal by any reason from Canadian High Commission, then Administrative Charge of
approximate $150 to 200 CAD (Non-Refundable) is applicable.
- International Student who withdraws OR transfers within the first 10 business days of beginning of the term are entitled
to a refund after deduction of 1000 CAD to be the administrative fee.
- Complete an International Student Withdrawal form and submit it (with all supporting documentation) to The
International Office.
- Refund request process time is of 6 to 8 weeks normally.
- Algonquin College will refund the money through wire transfer details only in the given account details.

Note: In case of Visa refusal and/or withdrawal, student must have to bear difference amount while getting refund money from
college due to dollar rate fluctuation. It will be approximately Rs. 50,000/- to 60,000/-. Please explain to all your students as well
as their parents in details regarding this difference amounts.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SERVICES
• The arrival services include maximum 3 nights hotel stay, breakfast and airport pick up. These are free services available for all
new Algonquin College students who have requested for this service.
• The hotel is fixed and decided by Algonquin College.
• The accommodation provided, will be on a shared basis. (www.algonquincollege.com/residence)
• The stay can be booked for a maximum of 3 nights as accommodation is arranged by the college and will have to vacate the
room after the 3rd night of stay.
