Personal Statement
I am Sajjad Ahmed, an aspiring Graphic Designer with a strong background in Computer
Science. My journey in this field began during my high school years when I developed a
fascination for computer video games, which led me to explore programming, photo and
video editing, and webpage design as hobbies. This initial spark ignited a lifelong passion
for computer science and design, driving me to pursue higher education and practical
experiences in the field.

Throughout my academic journey at The Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science
and Technology (SZABIST), I undertook a comprehensive curriculum in Computer Science,
honing my skills in various programming languages. Additionally, I actively engaged in
extracurricular activities, such as participating in coding competitions, attending
workshops on design and image processing, and conducting training sessions on Photo
Editing Workshop at SZABIST.

As a dedicated member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and Vice
President of the ACM SZABIST Hyderabad Student Chapter, I not only excelled academically
but also actively contributed to the community by volunteering at an orphanage, engaging
with children through teaching and games, and contributing to educational video projects
for a school. These experiences instilled in me a sense of responsibility and a desire to use
my skills to make a positive impact on society.

In my professional journey, I have gained practical experience in various roles, including

Graphic Designer and IT Support Engineer at NME Construction Management Inc., UI/UX
Designer at Verge Systems Pvt Ltd, and Product Designer at MONARCH Institute of
International Studies. These opportunities have allowed me to showcase my creativity and
design expertise, contributing to various projects and enhancing my skills as a Graphic
Designer.

My passion for design, coupled with my solid academic background and diverse skill set as
a UI Designer, has fueled my desire to pursue a career as a Designer in a data-driven world.
I am particularly drawn to the rapid growth of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning,
which presents exciting opportunities to merge creativity with cutting-edge technology.

I am deeply grateful for the unwavering support of my family, professors, teachers, and
friends, who have encouraged me to pursue my passion and have shown remarkable
patience throughout my journey. With their support and my determination, I am confident
that I can make meaningful contributions to the world of Graphic Design, blending creativity
and technology to create captivating visual experiences.
