SIEMENS sauce Tz SIEMENS Reference Power Plants Dear Collegues: This small booklet replaces the previous issue of “Thermal Power Plant Proposals” dating from July 1997 and contains all relevant basic data of cour 2 SIEMENS subcritical/supercritical coal fited Thermal Power Plant Classes (DKW) 2 x 300-450 MW and 2 x 500-700 MW. Based on these data, we have elaborated IPP budgetary proposal documents, which you can use to support your marketing and sales activities. On request, TZA is able to supply you with such a 1 file proposal based on the technical data given in this, booklet on short notice. Should you require deviations from these data due to clients request or speci ial site constraints, TZA will incorporate these changes as wel All data have been jointly developed between Product Development TPZ, Proposal Department TZA and Technical Experts from TA. They represent our current status for subcritical and supercrirical Thermal Power Plants. Further activities are currently undertaken to further improve our range of Reference Plants. The 2 x 300 MW Reference Plant Class transformed for conditions of SEA and the 2 x 700-1000 MW Thermal Power Plant Class will be developed until the end of 1999. If you require to present these concepts to your clients, TZA and TPZ will gladly support you with relevant proposal documents and other marketing materi Please take this booklet as a reference and as a basis to order IPP-Proposals from TZA. It will be state of art information on our Steam Turbine Reference Plants. These concepts give equal weight to client input regarding power plant technology preferences and optimization of life-cycle costs. in flexibility which allows replacement of components and related technical modifications (‘delta hin these concepts, both the mechanical design and the location of power ion and servicing. The following pages will give you an idea how These modular design concepts have bt engineering”) to accommodate differing power plant requirements. Wit plant components were selected with a view to minimizing costs during instal the modular design concepts can be applied. Design calculations show a net efficiency of around 38 per cent for these concepts at subcritical steam conditions at the turbine inlet of 167 bar/538°C/538°C. With supercritical steam conditions (250bar/540°C/560°C) a net efficiency of about 46 per cent can be achieved. This ensures that the lowest life-cycle costs can be achieved for a given set of specific conditions. Plant concepts are designed using a state-of-the art 3-D CAD system. This approach el iminates the need for the supplier to produce scale models, and gives the customer the opportunity to visualize the plant as early as the planning phase. Moreover, shipping and installation studies can be conducted in advance. Optimized installation sequences can be planned for later execution and overhaul sequences can also be optimized. sancti SIEMENS Focal area of modularization is the so-called “turbine island” which can be offered separately or as part of a “turnkey plant” Concept of modularization Full “Turnkey” Additional areas Focal area Steam turbine Boiler J Boiler feed pump i] Coal handling “Turbine island” HP preheater i] Ash handling iJ Turbine bypass J Condensate pump Circulating water system == | =.
