Development (2-8 yrs)

• At Scion Energy we are building customised energy storage solutions for
stationary and non-stationary applications. Currently we are into
manufacturing of batteries using the latest Lithium-ion technology. Scion
Energy was founded with a vision to building a bridge between the energy
generation and energy user, where grid can’t reach. With experienced
experts on team from backgrounds like BEL and decades of experience in
advanced electronics and battery systems, Our highly efficient batteries
acts as the core of high-performance applications like Electric Vehicles,
Telecom Towers, DataCentres, Solar Applications, Inverters and more.

• Scion is a part of GITA GROUP, a business group established in 1950 and


has substantial interest in diversified business activities ranging from Hydro
& Renewable Energy, manufacturing Indian railway concrete sleepers,
electricity transmission poles, irrigation/water supply pipes, refractories,
special steel wires and strands, Foundry, real estate & construction, Pulses
processing (Dal Mills) and lifestyle retail (Bonsaii).

• As a Business Development Engineer at Scion Energy Storage you


will be responsible for -
• Identifying and establishing contact with potential customers for battery
and energy storage solutions.
• Driving strategic, enterprise-wide sales initiatives calling on electric
mobility and energy storage companies around the world.
• Explore new upcoming markets and applications for Li-ion battery.
• You will drive the prospects through the sales funnel and be fully
responsible for lead conversion.
• Establish entry into new market and establish the company brand
• You will also be required to travel around the world visiting & exhibiting our
platform at leading trade shows.
What you will do:

- You will initiate and lead the sales conversation for new inbound leads/
prospective customers

- Strategise and work to achieve team & individual business goals

- Grow revenue & gain market share in the Lithium Battery Business

- Serve as the lead point of contact for all assigned customers & account
management matters

- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with


Automotive OEMs

- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to


customer needs and objectives

- Coordinate customer service and technical support teams to support


customers

- Provide regular sales forecast & reports

This is you:

- Bachelor's Degree/PG in any stream (Electronics Engineering preferred)

- 2+ years of sales experience with Automotive component supplier/Inverter


Companies

- Knowledge of Automotive Electronics, Lithium-Ion Batteries, Battery


Management Systems

- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets

- Ability to quickly understand complex problems and package custom


solutions for customers

- Self-Starter executive, capable of taking a sales conversation from start to


finish line
- Ability to prioritise multiple customers, projects and adhere to business-
critical deadlines

- Excellent written and verbal communication for international sales
