Rubik’s Cube: General Rule

Rubik’s cube is a toy in the shape of cube with nine square on each side,
each side with different color. The game is to mix up the colors then put them back
in order. The puzzle is considered solve when each face of the cube shows a solid
color.
Rubik’s cube is a mechanical puzzle invented by a Hungarian sculptor and
professor of architecture ERNO RUBIK. Originally called the Magic Cube by its
inventor, this puzzle was rename Rubik’s Cube by Ideal Toys in 1980 and won a
special award for Best Puzzle.

General Mechanics
Solve State: when each of six (6) sides of the cube has one solid color per side.
1. Each contestant will use their Rubik’s Cube , 3x3x3 for Grade 7&8 and
4x4x4 for Grade 9&10, to be inspected by the facilitator before the start of
the game.
2. Rubik’s Cube must have the following standard color for the six faces of the
cube (White, Yellow, Red, Orange, Blue, and Green).
3. During the time of the competition, contestants must be in the venue 15
minutes before the start of the game.
4. The facilitator for the Rubik’s Cube will be the one to scramble all the cubes.
5. All Rubik’s Cube to be solved are scrambled with the same sequence for each
grade level.
6. The top 10 winners in each grade level will be awarded in the cluster and
division (Medals for1st to 5th Place , and Certificates for 6th to 10th Place)
7. Only the top 1 in cluster will compete in division level
