Easter Extravaganza Hosted at the Historic Dentzel Carousel

An afternoon of family fun

LOGANSPORT, IND. (February 28, 2024) – The Dentzel Carousel is hosting an afternoon of
Easter activities on March 17, 2024 from 1-4 p.m. Cass County residents are invited to
participate in an array of family-friendly activities.

The carousel will be offering free rides all afternoon. The Easter bunny will be available for a
meet-and-greet starting at 2 p.m. in the main hall of the carousel building. Activity tables will be
set up and participants will have the chance to win prizes. In addition to this, a variety of local
vendors will be present selling baked goods, handmade jewelry, and much more.

An art class will be available at 1 p.m. To reserve one of the 15 spots in the art class, visit the
Dentzel Carousel Facebook page. Children are invited to paint an Easter bunny with instruction
from members of the Logansport Arts Association. The class is available at no cost thanks to
sponsorship from the Office of the Mayor.

Mayor Chris Martin says, “The Office of the Mayor is excited to sponsor this community event.
As a father myself, I am thrilled to focus the town’s efforts on our county’s children and families.
I’ll see you all at the carousel on March 17–good luck grabbing the golden ring!”

The Cass County Dentzel Carousel would like to thank the sponsors of this event: the Office of
the Mayor, Morehead Trucking and Excavating, and Cass County Visitors Bureau.
