Understanding and solving issues related
to blood donation through STEM
approach.

ASSIGNMENT: Students should prepare an individual folio.

Everyday, blood is needed to save lives. Blood is needed for surgery or to treat
patients with leukemia, hemophilia.

(1) Collect information

about the problem statement according to these guidelines:

- The importance of blood donation.

- The criteria that needed by someone to be a blood donor
- Issues regarding blood donation.
- Methods in blood managements in terms of storing the blood samples.
- Can a person who is vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccine donate their
blood to other person? Explain.

Suggestion: Can add pictures, images, charts if neccessary

(2) Create an Infographic

“Benefit of Blood Donation”
- to encourage people to donate blood.
