Minimum Eligibility:
A graduate with a bachelor's degree or equivalent. A final year student is also eligible.
OR
Have a combination of four years (or 48 months) of full-time work experience and/or college
/university education on the date of registering for the Level I exam.

CFA® Program Structure

The CFA® Program is divided into three levels of exams. Passing each exam takes you one step closer
to becoming a CFA Charterholder .
The CFA® Program Consists of Three Levels:

Level I CFA® Program:

Introduces various topics like equity, derivatives, etc., which are eventually used for
creating portfolios. Level I CFA® Exam is offered in February, May, August, and
November. It has 180 MCQs (90 questions each for the morning and afternoon
sessions).

Level II CFA® Program:

Emphasizes on the application of various tools like quantitative analysis, portfolio

analysis for doing asset valuation. Level II CFA® Exam is offered in May and
August and has 120 MCQ’s (20 caselets with six questions each).

Level III CFA® Program:

Focuses on Portfolio Management and different strategies for creating specific portfoli-
os for individuals and institutions. Level III CFA® Exam is offered in May and November.
It has essay type questions and MCQs.
