Safety Considerations: - teacher will ask students to stand

- teacher will explain “we are going to be listening to a
song today that talks about kitchen utensils. I want
you all to dance until you hear your kitchen utensils in
the song” When you here your kitchen utensil sang I
want you to hold your hand high”
- teacher will also explain I want you to act out how we
would use each of our utensils during the song
- Teacher will play the song “the kitchen crew song
(sesame studios)
- When the song talks about a utensil that a student is
holding the students will raise their hand high holding
the utensils
- Teacher will be dancing having their own of each
utensils that the students are holding to remind them
when it is their turn to hold their utensils high
- Teacher will assist students by reminding them when
to raise their hand
- Teacher will keep in mind which students need a
reminder and which student have immediate reaction
when hearing their utensil in the song
- Once the song ends teacher will collect the utensils

Extension if needed:

- Students will once again do the song exactly the


same but holding a different Kitchen Utensil that was
introduced
