1) What is LAN ?
A) A local area network (LAN) is a collection of devices connected together in one physical location, such as
a building, office, or home. A LAN can be small or large, ranging from a home network with one user to an
enterprise network with thousands of users and devices in an office or school.
2) What is WAN ?
A) A wide-area network (WAN) is the technology that connects your offices, data centers, cloud
applications, and cloud storage together. It is called a wide-area network because it spans beyond a
single building or large campus to include multiple locations spread across a specific geographic area, or
even the world.
3) What is trouble shooting ?
A) Troubleshooting is a systematic approach to solving a problem. The goal of troubleshooting is to
determine why something does not work as expected and explain how to resolve the problem. The first
step in the troubleshooting process is to describe the problem completely.
4) What is Modem ?
A) The name modem means modulator demodulator. A modem connects our computer to a standard phone
line or to our cable, which allows us to send data or receive data. A modem is a conversion device that
converts signals from one device into signals another device can read.
5) What is router ?
A) It Sends information from the internet to personal devices like computers, phones, and tablets. These
internet-connected devices in your home make up your Local Area Network (LAN). Once a modem brings
in information from the internet, a router distributes this data to your personal devices.

it’s possible to access almost any information, communicate with anyone else in the world, and do much
more.

A) Broadband refers to various high-capacity transmission technologies that transmit data, voice, and video
across long distances and at high speeds.it always connected and removes the need of dial up
9) Difference between rom and ram ?
A) RAM, which stands for random access memory, and ROM, which stands for read-only memory, are both
present in your computer. RAM is volatile memory that temporarily stores the files you are working on.
ROM is non-volatile memory that permanently stores instructions for your computer.
10) What is windows ?
A) Windows is an operating system designed by Microsoft. The operating system is what allows you to use a
computer, which helps to make it the most popular operating system in the world.
11) What is OS ?
A) Operating system (OS) is the program that, after being initially loaded into the computer by a boot
program, manages all of the other application programs in a computer. It makes requests for defined API
