Demonstrate understand on strategy and strategic management and its role in organizations
Demonstrate understand on environmental forces and analyse the environment by using strategic
management models.

Apply strategic management concepts and frameworks on business level, corporate level, and
international strategy formulation.
Understand and explain the importance of the role of entrepreneurship and innovation for competitive
advantage
Students will be assigned to prepare a internal and external analysis for a chosen organization. Students must apply the
process of analyzing the internal and external environment using the relevant theories and propose recommendations for
the strategic plan for the business.
Choose an organization of your choice. Identify the background information about the company and the industry in
which the business operates.
Identify the condition of the external environment the business operates in. Relate how the external environment can
affect the strategic planning of the business.
To go forward with strategic planning, understand the internal environment of the business. Assess the internal
environment using the relevant tools.
Develop 3 years strategic action plan for the organization based on the information found in internal and external
environment analysis.

Group presentation: Group must act as a team of consultants and provide a profile of consultancy team. A group of ( 3-5
students) Present the strategic plan to the board of the company.
Time: 15 minutes (10 minutes presentation and 5 minutes questions and answers)
Place: Google Meet
Note
The group contract, peer reviewed form and a minimum of 3 meeting minutes report are a must to submit
with the group project.
Submitting them will not grant any additional mark, however a failure to present all the 3 or less will result to
reduce the mark awarded by 10%.
Plagiarism:
The submitted assignment will automatically undergo a similarity check. If plagiarism is detected, marks
would be deducted as per College policy on plagiarism and assessment offence.
Your work should be word processed in 12-point typeface (preferably Arial) with either 1 1/2 or double
spacing, with line spaces between paragraphs.
