Breath Weapon
At 1st level you gain a breath weapon useable once on
your attack action. After your attack action, roll a 1d6. On a
success of 5 or 6, your breath weapon recharges and can
be used on your next turn. If your roll is unsuccessful, you
must wait 1 minute before you can use your breath
weapon.
Each time you use your breath weapon, you can choose
whether it takes the form of a 15-foot cone or a 30-foot
line. This breath weapon deals 1d6 points of force
damage. A successful Dexterity save halves the damage.
The DC for the roll is equal to your warlock spell save DC.
As you gain more levels, your breath attack deals more
damage. At 5th level your breath attack deals 2d6 force
damage, 3d6 force damage at 11th level, and 4d6 force
damage at 17th level.
Your patron has allowed that some invocations that
affect eldritch blast can also affect your breath weapon,
though some of these invocations have minor changes
made to suit your breath weapon attacks. As you gain
warlock class levels, more breath effect invocations
become available to you when you meet their
prerequisites.
Great Resistance
The Great Wyrm has grown beyond the elemental forces
that governs a dragon's existence and has imparted some
of that ability onto you. At 6th level, when you finish a short
rest, choose a damage type from acid, cold, fire, lightning,
or poison. You gain resistance to your chosen damage type
until the end of your next short rest or long rest, whichever
occurs first.
