larger or smaller buttons, the Ch number must be adjusted accordingly) [48]

Now rotate the workpiece so that you can crochet along the opposite side of the beginning chain (see photos):
Row 3: 6 sc, Ch4, skip 10 sts to shape an armhole, 16 sc, Ch4, skip 10 sts to shape an armhole, 6 sc [28 sts + 8 Ch]

back across the round. The beginning chain does not count as stitch.

Cut the yarn, do not leave a long tail.

Now with the back side of the dress facing you, attach the ivory yarn into the top left corner and make the edging,
working evenly Sl st into FL(O) along the top. See photos. Cut the yarn, do not leave a long tail.

Now we make the edging of the bottom dress, working evenly Sl st around the bottom.

Point the back of dress facing you, attach the ivory yarn in the left top corner (see photo) and crochet 72 sl st
(along the side 32 sl st, along middle front 2 sl st, along the other side 32 sl st, along the top back 6 sl st). See
photos. Cut the yarn, do not leave a long tail.

Now we continue to work on the bottom of the dress in joined rounds. Join the cyclamen yarn into back loop of
the 1st sl st and crochet into BL(O):

Rounds 3-14: Ch2 (counts as first DC), 215 DC, join with sl st to the Ch2 [216] (12 rounds)
Cut the yarn, do not leave a long tail.

Cut all ends and sew the button opposite the button hole.

Flower
Crochet the flower with ivory yarn, in rows.
Row 1: Make Ch23, starting from the 5th Ch from the hook crochet: 1 DC, [skip 2 sts and in next st make (1 DC +
Ch2 + 1 DC)]*6
As a result, you get 7 arches (see photos). In the next row in these arches we will make petals.

Row 2: Ch2, turn, [(1 DC, 6 TC, 1 DC) in the arch space, Ch2, 1 sl st in next st, Ch2]*6, (1 DC, 6 TC, 1 DC) in the arch
space. As a result, you get a flower with 7 petals. Fasten off, leaving a long tail.

Take the tail of yarn and insert the needle at the end of the flower and move to the other end making simple
stitches (see photos). Now, arrange the petals with your fingers and form the flower to your liking.
Sew the center of the flower with the same tail. Fasten off, make a knot and hide the ends.

Sew the flower to the dress using regular sewing thread.

Miss Universe Ribbon

Work in rows with ivory yarn.
Row 1: Ch8, from 2nd ch from the hook crochet 1 sl st, 1 sc, 1 hdc, skip 1 loop, 1 sl st, Ch4, from 2nd ch from the
hook crochet 1 sl st, 1 sc, 1 hdc, skip 1 loop of the beginning chain, 1 sl st in the last chain, continue in the circle
direction along the opposite side of the chain and crochet 4 sc

Rows 2-69: Ch1, turn, 4 sc (68 rows)
Row 70: turn, Ch4, from 2nd ch from the hook crochet along the chains 1 sl st, 1 sc, 1 hdc, skip 1 st of the previous
row, in the next st make 1 sl st, Ch4, from 2nd ch from the hook crochet along the chains 1 sl st, 1 sc, 1 hdc, skip 1
st of the previous row, in the next st make 1 sl st. Cut the yarn, do not leave a long tail.

Now we make the edging of the ribbon with silver yarn, working evenly Sl st (the Sl st must be crocheted loosely).
While crocheting Sl st, you can make a buttonhole (making a few Ch) so you can join the ends of the ribbon with a
button. This will make easier to put on and take off the ribbon. As for me, I joined the ends of the ribbon, simply
sewing them together. Cut the yarn and hide it.
Now we make the inscription "MISS UNIVERSE" using black thread and tapestry needle.

Tiara Miss Universe

Work in rows with thin silver yarn and hook size 2.0 mm (US B/1).
Take a bobby pin and straighten it in a semicircle (see photo).

Leave a long starting yarn, well need it later to fix the end to the bobby pin. Make a knot as shown in the first
photo. Now crochet along the bobby pin:
Row 1: 45 sc. Cut the yarn and leave a long tail to fix the end to the bobby pin.

Sandals
Sole (make 2 for each shoe)
Work the soles in spiral rounds with cream color.
Make Ch6
Round 1: Start from 2nd ch from the hook and crochet along the chain – 1 inc, 3 sc, 4 sc into the last Ch, continue
in the circle direction along the opposite side of the chain: 3 sc, 1 inc in the last Ch [14]
Round 2: (inc)*2, 3 sc, (inc)*4, 3 sc, (inc)*2 [22]
Round 3: (inc, 1 sc)*2, 3 sc, (inc, 1 sc)*4, 3 sc, inc, 1 sc, inc, sl st [30]
Cut the yarn and hide it.

Joining soles
Place the soles together, wrong sides inside, like it's shown in the photos. Take the gray yarn and crochet Sl st
through around entire sole going through both soles [30]
Fasten off, make a knot and hide the ends inside the sole.

Back of the sandals

Point the sole with the heel at you, locate the center 8 stitches, marking the two extreme ones (see photo on the
next page).

Now join ivory yarn into right marked stitch (into back loop of Sl st) and work first row in BL(O).
Row 1: BL(O) Ch1, 1 sc in the same st as Ch1, 7 sc, Ch1, turn [8]

Rows 2-5: 8 sc, Ch1, turn [8] (4 rows)

Starting from the 6th row, we will crochet the right and left sandals differently as we will make the strap and
the button hole!

Left
Row 6: 8 sc, Ch16, into 7th ch from the hook crochet 1 sl st to join.
Cut the yarn and hide it.

Right
Row 6: 8 sc
Cut the yarn, leaving a tail 30 cm (11.8") long for strap and button hole. Take the tapestry needle and pull the tail
yarn through the stitches of Row 6 until the opposite corner (see photos on the next page). Now using the tail
yarn crochet Ch16, into 7th ch from the hook make 1 sl st to join. Cut the yarn and hide it.

In cyclamen color
The Toe of both sandals we will make in the same way.
1) Ch4, join to the 1st Ch in a ring with Sl st

2) Ch5, 1DTC into the ring space, Ch5, join with sl st in ring space, Ch5, 1DTC in ring, Ch5, join with sl st in ring-sp.
Cut the yarn and hide all ends.

Now we need find the front 10 sts on the sole. To do this, point the sole with the toe at you and find centermost 2
stitches. Mark those two sts. Starting at the marked sts count forward 5 sts on each side and mark. From this 5th
stitch, start sewing the cyclamen workpiece to the sole, using regular white thread. Sew the button onto the side
of each shoe. I glued the crystal on the front of sandals.

Congratulations, your outfit is now done!
