- I first start asking the questions: Who are you and what do you like?
Example: I’m Leslie and I like to teach English.
- Then, name a person and has to follow the same steps.

Find a partner

- Everyone has to stand up asking question to another person in order to find a certain
thing in common.

Question master

- Choose a scenario and the students have to ask questions that often are made in those
places.
Places: Kitchen, mall, airport, café, school.

People to people
- Make 2 groups with the same number of members.
- One group has to be inside of the other.
- The groups have to rotate in different directions.
- Then, shout out STOP.
- When they stop, they will be facing to their partners.
- Each person has to speak with her/his partner facing each other.
- Ask questions like:
What’s your name? How old are you? Do you have any hobbies? How long have you
been studying English? Do you have any siblings? Who do you live with? What time do
you get up? What time do you go to sleep? What’s your favorite food? What’s your
favorite color? Which year are you in? What’s your favorite subject? Tell me any word
from the last vocabulary about SPORTS, CHRISTMAS, BEACH.

- 2 groups, they have to make a list and write it on the board.


- The group that loses will sing a song.

Electric current

- All the students have to hold each other hands.


- One of them has to leave the room.
- The person who starts the current has to blink his/her eyes each time the current
passes through them.
- The person who was outside has to guess who started the current.

Grandma, tiger, hunter

- Grandma beats hunter


- Hunter beats tiger
- Tiger beats grandma
- Chooe sentence 1, 2, or 3.
- Grandma: really old woman without her walking stick
- Hunter: person with a gun, and make its sound.
- Tiger: make its sound, and like it’s eating something.

Hot Potato Rules

- Gather all the students into a circle.


- Have the students pass each other the potato with music playing.
- When the music stops, the student with the hot potato must take a flashcard and read
the word.
- The student must attempt to pronounce correctly the word from the vocab. If they
make a mistake, they will do something.
- The student who’s left standing wins the round!

Surveys

- In pairs, they will ask each other questions related to the vocab.
- Once finished, they have to present their partners’ ideas to the rest.

movie related to Christmas?, Do you make a family gathering for Christmas, what is
your fav Christmas song?, have you ever been ill on Christmas?, would you rather
Christmas or New Years Eve? What do you like most about Christmas?

I Spy

Requires participants to locate something in the room based on a clue given by the teacher or
another student. This game is excellent for young learners to practice their vocabulary and
knowledge of topics such as colors and sizes.

For example, when the teacher says, “I spy something beginning with B,” the students will try
to find something in the classroom beginning with this letter.
