His name was Elias Ricardo Figueroa Brander

He was 76 years old.

His birth was in Valparaíso, an October 25, 1976.

Elias had a wife named Marcela Kupfer.

With her, he had 2 kids: Lidia Brander and Gonzalo Figueroa.

He studied until 4th year of university when he was playing for Brazil.

And he graduated when he started playing for Chile.

1 – When he was 11 years old, he had various diseases, but he was able to resume football when he was 13.

3-He was selected as the best player in the years 67 and 68 in his team on Uruguay.

8-Currently the defender was a businessperson who created the Gol Iluminado foundation, which seeks to educate

9-After his retire from soccer, he started to work as a commentator for the Chilean National Television and for the
program ¨Más Deporte¨ on the Chilean National Radio.

10-In all his career, he scored 47 goals.

He was born in Valparaíso, Chile, on October 25, 1946, into an average Chilean family. Since he was little he had health
complications: diphtheria caused heart problems and later led to asthma. For this reason, the Figueroa Brander family
decided to move to the nearby city of Quilpué, famous for its good air, and later settled in Villa Alemana. At an early age,
Elías began to show talent with the ball, but doctors forbade him from playing sports and even diagnosed that he would
not be a normal child.
