1 INTRODUCTION
The suffering of patients was more acute and complex. At the time, confinement
systems relied on traditional methods that burdened patients and hindered their
access to necessary health care.
1. Phone System: Booking appointments over the phone was a tedious and
frustrating process. Patients had to wait for long hours on the phone line before
they could talk to a staff member to schedule an appointment. Lines were also
constantly busy, forcing patients to reconnect repeatedly.
2. In-person: Patients sometimes had to go to the clinic in person to book an
appointment. This was a huge burden on patients, especially the elderly and
patients with reduced mobility.
3. Overcrowding: The clinics were overcrowded, resulting in patients being late for
appointments.

difficult. Workers had to deal with overcrowded schedules, manage patient files,
and coordinate work between departments, all without the help of modern
electronic systems.
3. Medical errors: The likelihood of medical errors was higher due to work pressure
and too many tasks. It was difficult for staff to focus adequately on each patient,
leading to errors in diagnosis or treatment.
4. Low patient satisfaction: Low patient satisfaction with the services provided was
common. Patients had long waiting times, difficulty communicating with doctors,
and lack of information about their health status, all of which led to frustration and
dissatisfaction.
