Dear Ma’am Grace,

I am writing to extend my sincerest apologies for my absence during the speech

presentation you assigned. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I opted to refrain from
participating in class, as I was suffering from sore eyes aggravated by the intense heat
index at the time. For personal reasons, I may also have reservations about providing
further details on this matter.

Please understand that this decision was not made lightly, and I diligently explored all
possible options to adjust my schedule to accommodate my participation.
Unfortunately, despite my best efforts, I find myself unable to commit to the event at
this time.

Rest assured; I am eager to assist in any capacity to ensure that my responsibilities

are adequately managed during my absence. I am fully prepared to offer guidance,
assistance, and support to my fellow group members to facilitate the smooth execution
of our tasks.
