This is a photo demonstrating the current situation of how education is delivered.

It is
very evident how, little by little, learning is undergoing reconstruction, in particular the learning
environment or setup. Back then, learning setup were in the form of face-to-face classes. This
form of learning environment consists of students and teachers, literally facing each other and
learning takes place in flesh.
But unfortunately, in 2019 of December, a virus from Wuhan, China called COVID-19,
spread throughout the globe and learning systems had to take such extreme measures such as
refraining face to face classes, and freshly introducing online classes. Online classes are the new
normal since 2020. It wasn’t easy for many students adjusting to this type of learning system.
Many disadvantages include bad internet, noisy and busy environment, and family issues.
But even with all the disadvantages, online class was the only way for students to have
education in a less risky way. Now that we are slowly recovering from the pandemic, I think that
we should come up with many ways to have a healthier learning pace for students. First prioritize
the mental health of the students. The well-being of a student is just as important as learning.
When they’re neglected and ignored, they won’t have the energy to study. Be open-minded and a
good listener to the feelings of the students. Do not jump into conclusions on why their grades go
down at times, they may be facing something. To have a healthy education system, balance
assignments and activities. The activities should be energizing, enthusiastic, and joyful whether
it is face-to-face or online. The assignments should also perfectly mirror what has been taught to
the students. In face-to-face classes, treat online gadgets as a major asset in our lives. Face-to-
face classes should still always have a use for smartphones, because the internet gives us many
ideas on how things work.
I believe that it can work, with the student’s welfare in mind. Education is a continuous
process, and no pandemic should stop this process.
