LITTLE MISS SUYANG 2024
GUIDELINES AND MECHANICS

A BEAUTY PAGEANT/ BEAUTY CONTEST is a completion that has traditionally focused on

judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants, although most contest have
evolved to also incorporate personality traits, intelligence, talent, answers to judges questions
as judged criteria.

THE AIM OF “LITTLE MISS SUYANG 2024” TO THE CONTESTANT

- is to develop the personality of the young candidates, and provide avenue for them to gain
confidence and raise their self – esteem.

- Each candidate must prepare for the following attires for the contest:

FOR CORONATION NIGHT

- Production Number
- Sports Wear
- talent
- Summer Wear
- Native Attire
- Evening Gown
- Q&A

MISS TALENT/BEST IN TALENT CATEGORY MECHANICS

- Performance must have a minimum of two minutes and a maximum of three minutes.
One minute will be allowed for preparation. Time starts from the first movement of the
candidates. One point shall be deducted from every judge’s score for every 10 seconds
in excess of the allotted maximum time. In case of a tie, point system will be applied. In
case of further tie, the chairman of the Board of Judges will break the tie.
 - No back – up dancers will be allowed during the performance except for dance sports,
which requires a partner.
- Candidates who will be use music for performance should submit their music or CDs to
the committee in charge a day before the talent competition. One point will be
deducted from the over – all score if the candidate fails to comply with the deadline.
- Talent completion including costumes must be within the bounds of decency and must
not offend anyone’s sensibilities. Vulgar words and indecent gesture are not allowed.
- Fire, Water, deadly weapons and live animals are not allowed as props.

CORPORATE AWARD
The sponsor’s representatives will judge/choose from among the candidates the one who
ideally embodies their products or company. This award will be given by the representative
during the pageant night.

Each Candidate will pick a paper which the question is written in a bowl.
