Nmap port states

 Open – listening on that port

 Closed – not listening on that port
 Filtered – firewall/filter is blocking that port
 Unfiltered – not responding to probe but not
possible to determine open/close
 Open/filtered – either open or filtered
 Closed/filtered – either close or filtered
