The list of firsts for the Wildcats during the 2021 season is a long one from a Regional HS grad
program-defining season which began with uncertainty amidst national and local
surges in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. Orchard and her Villanova • Playing: LHP at

first-ever BIG EAST title and a berth in an NCAA regional for the first time in 6.52 strikeouts per
school history. The Wildcats traveled to Arizona and defeated UMBC for the first seven innings

ing that would be no easy feat, as Orchard and the ‘Cats began the year as the
