PROBLEM STATEMENT:-

A PRE EXPERIMENTAL STUDY TO ASSESS THE EFFECTIVENESS OF

STRUCTURED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME ON KNOWLEDGE AND PRACTICES
ABOUT PREVENTION OF COMPLICATIONS IN TRACHEOSTOMY CARE ON
VENTILATOR PATIENTS AMONG NURSING STUDENTS IN SELECTED NURSING
COLLEGES, MAHARASHTRA.

OBJECTIVES:-

1. Does Structured Educational Programme will Effect on knowledge & practices about
Prevention of Complications In Tracheostomy Care On Ventilator Patients Among
Nursing Students In Selected Nursing Colleges, Maharashtra.

2. Is there any relation between knowledge and practices about Prevention of

Complications In Tracheostomy Care On Ventilator Patients Among Nursing Students
In Selected Nursing Colleges, Maharashtra.

HYPOTHESIS:-

 H01-There will be no significant difference in the mean pre-test and post-test

knowledge & practices scores about prevention of complications in tracheostomy care
on ventilator patients among nursing students.

 H02- There is no significant relationship between the knowledge and practices about
prevention of complications in tracheostomy care on ventilator patients among
nursing students.
