Kailash Kund annual pilgrimage
commenced today in the charm-
ing mountainous town of
Bhaderwah.
The sacred journey started
from ancient Vasuki Nag temple
Pilgrims participating in Kailash Kund annual pilgrimage in
Bhaderwah on Monday.

reach the sacred Kailash Kund,

This spiritual expedition is a testa-
ment to the enduring Nag Culture.
The Yatra commenced with
the departure of Chhari Mubarak
(holy mace) from centuries old
Vasuki Nag temple at Gatha.
The pilgrims have to traverse
through coniferous forests
adorned with pine, fir and cedar
trees. They pass through meadows
and rocky terrain before reaching
the plains at the base of Mount
Kablas.

District Administration Kishtwar,
in collaboration with Kishtwar
Development Authority (KDA),
Directorate of Tourism Jammu
and Jammu and Kashmir
Academy of Art, Culture &
Languages (JKAACL) hosted the
Devigol Festival in the pictur-
esque Bunjwah area of this moun-
tainous district amid huge public
participation.
The event, held on Sunday,
witnessed the enthusiastic partici-
pation of more than 10,000 visi-
tors who enjoyed a blend of tradi-
tional Sports (Dangal), cultural
performances, and recreational
activities amidst the breathtaking
natural beauty.
Several Government agencies
and organizations, including the
Indian Army, Ratle Hydro Electric
Power Project, District Youth
Services and Sports Department,
RDD, Revenue, Forest
Department, and the All Sports
Association Bunjwah besides the
locals played a pivotal role in

men, technology and architecture

we have inherited over the genera-

The New Delhi Declaration
adopted at the G20 Summit com-
mitted itself to implement India's
initiative of 'Lifestyle for
Environment Mission' (LiFE) and
promote Artificial Intelligence
towards achieving the United
Nations' Sustainable Development
Goals (SDG). By adopting the
'Green Development Pact,' G-20
Bhaderwah by dedicated artists
and the dance performance by
young talents like Tavishi Anand
and Simran Kumari alongside
other local performers and school
students, added an extra layer of
excitement to the festival with
their captivating dance perform-
ances.
In addition to the festivities, a
Devigol to Pagga trekking expe-
dition was organized, attracting
25 trekkers who explored the pic-
turesque landscapes under the
guidance and support of Tehsildar
Bunjwah, BDO Bunjwah and
Forest Department, Bunjwah.

The G20 Summit supported
India's plan to build and maintain a
Global Digital Public
Infrastructure Repository
(GDPIR) and welcomed the estab-
lishment of the Global Initiative on
Digital Health (GIDH) within a
WHO-managed framework.
A landmark achievement was
the launch of Global Biofuel
Alliance (GBA) by the leaders of
Singapore, Bangladesh, Italy,
USA, Brazil, Argentina, Mauritius
and UAE, at the initiative of PM
Modi on the sidelines of the G20
Summit. GBA aims to serve as a
catalytic platform, fostering global
collaboration for the advancement
and widespread adoption of biofu-
els.
"I am glad that India, under
Prime Minister Modi, has taken a
lead in doing so. This is also an
occasion when we are making a
transition from the kind of work
approach that we have followed
over the years," said Dr Jitendra
Singh, referring to the
Anusandhan National Research
Foundation which will have up to
70% funding from non-govern-
mental sources.
Following the success of 'One
Week One Lab' (OWOL) pro-
gramme, Dr Jitendra Singh pro-
posed the observance of 'One
Month One Theme' programme
towards integrating the efforts of
the various laboratories.
"Even though each of the
(CSIR) labs has a different USP,
but many of have common
theme… therefore, later on, in the
next stage, we could have a wider
integration based on themes," he
said, stating that the Aditya
Mission illustrates the 'Whole of
Science' example where all
Departments pooled resources
including ISRO, DST, CSIR's
National Aerospace Laboratories,
Tata Institute etc.
Stating that the NIScPR can be
a torchbearer, Dr Jitendra Singh
said the CSIR labs can publicise
10 success stories each.
"The idea is to reach out to the
potential beneficiaries. However
much and however valuable an
experiment is, it ceases to actually
achieve its goals if it doesn't reach
out to those for whom it is meant
to be," he said.
On the occasion, Dr Jitendra
Singh inaugurated the Science
Media Communication Cell and
released a number of NIScPR pub-
lications and journal. Among the

Speaking on the occasion, Jugal
Kishore Sharma said the huge suc-
cess of G20 Summit has made
every Indian proud. This is going to
inject a new spirit to compatriots to
work with renewed vigour for
nation building and redefining their
cultural ethos.
He said the G20 has also
brought Jammu and Kashmir to a
focus and the UT is now is at the
threshold of transformation with
large scale investments pouring in
various sectors. This will open up
vistas of opportunities in terms of
jobs and economic upliftment.
Sharma said the BJP is a mass
movement, standing for empower-
ment of the people and support

to fight for the just cause of the peo-
