The award was presented to the Rector/Ceo Bldr. (Prof.) Emmanuel Achuenu of the
Delta State Polytechnic Ogwashi-Uku by the Advocate For Good Governance in Nigeria
(AFGGN) ably led by the Director of Programs, Dr. Ojomah Monday on this day 27th
July, 2023.
AFGGN is a Lagos based Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) whose thematic focus
areas are;Advocacy on Good Governance, Advocacy on Education, Advocacy on
empowerment/training, Advocacy on sensitization, and Advocacy on media services.
The award was in line with the Rector’s uncommon contributions to humanity and
enviable sterling leadership qualities, and community development.
Dr. Ojomah said “without fear or favour, it is our believe that Prof. Achuenu has
contributed to National and societal building through his services over the years
in various capacities even till date; his administrative prudence, policy
implementation, love for Nigerias, youth empowerment, his experimental knowledge
and modest inputs are too paramount to be discarded and unnoticed.
In his remarks, Prof. Achuenu thanked AFGGN for finding him worthy of this honour
and pledge to continue doing what is right even as he serves humanity in his little
capacity.
