Concessionai re committed to maintain all the surface defects by using SMA in wearing course in rutted section latest by April-2024. on MBCB & Kerb stones to enhance the safety measures, ensure the installation of blinkers at all the bottle necks in working condition within 7 days. IE/PD/ RO to ensure that maintenance of the stretch especially in Sasaram Bypass & between Mohania Toll Plaza to Karmanasha and installation of road safety| signage, safety during construction etc. has to be completed by April 2024 throughout the stretch failing which strict action shall be initiated as per CA. The rehabilitation/reconstruc tion work with SMA at rutting sections has been inspected. The Concessionaire was instructed to expedite the maintenance of remaining rutted stretches immediately and also devise a mechanism to verify efficacy of the methodology adopted for the purpose. The Concessionaire & IE were strictly instructed to ensure the construction and maintenance of all the diversions properly at site| as per specifications with immediate effect. ‘Most of the diversions are constructed substandard which are not as per IRC specification s. Inadequate road safety signages observed at diversions, Requiremen tof additional Major Bridges at km 803+050) (on Ganga River) & km] 1935+500 (on| Son River) It was observed that no widening/ new construction has been proposed for Major Bridges at km 803+050 (on Ganga River) & km 935+500 (on Son River) and only rehabilitatio nand maintenance of existing 4- lane bridges are in the scope of existing agreement. This leads to traffic congestion at the existing bridges during peak hours. It was instructed to explore the feasibility/requirement of construction of new 3- lane bridges adjacent to the existing bridges on River Ganga (at km 803+050) & River Son (at km 935+500) and accordingly, proposal to be submitted to engage a DPR consultant. Concessionaire has to increase the mobilization of resources and complete the balance activities including structures by June-2024 without fail. © The quality and workmanship of various items viz. retaining wall of underpasses, DBM, BC, PQC, drains etc. needs to be reviewed and ensured by IE. © The Concessionaire has to] immediately start Avenue, Plantation with native variety of trees and ‘Median Plantation in the completed stretch as per provisions of CA & IRC guidelines. «It was observed that due to non-maintenance & non-cleaning of drains in built-up sections, regular water logging takes place, which is not at all acceptable. The Concessionaire has to ensure that cleaning of drains is done on regular basis. * The maintenance and upkeep in and around Mohania & Sasaram Toll plaza are not satisfactory. The Concessionaire has been instructed to maintain highest standards in terms of maintenance, hygiene, cleantiness etc. ina stretch of minimum 1 km length on both sides of Toll Plazas.
