*HRCA Creative Writing

Registration Fee: Rs.950/- per participant

Contest Objectives
CALLING ALL YOUNG ARTISTS & WRITERS!! The art & creative competition is back!! And once again
calling on young artists writers to submit their work. It’s a fantastic opportunity for all the students from pre-
level to grade 12, to unleash their artistic creativity
Participation Eligibility
Students of Class 4, Class 5 & Class 6 are eligible to participate in the competition.
Contest Date
15th October, 2023
Contest Location
The test will be conducted in the respective school of participants.
Creative Writing Evaluation
• SIZE of paper for Creative Writing: A4 size.
• Content and Body (maximum 40 points)
Response to assigned task, clearly established controlling idea, relevant and clearly developed
supporting ideas, sense of order, sense of completeness
Sentence Formation (maximum 20 points)
Appropriate and punctuation, complete sentences, appropriate coordination and subordination
Style (maximum 20 points)
Effective diction, varied and effective sentence structure, tone consistent with topic and purpose,
sense of audience
Creativity (maximum 20 points).
• Entries must be in English.
• Each page must be numbered.
Words Limit
Grade (4) (50-60 words approx.)
Grade (5-6) (80-100 words approx.)

Note: HRCA Arts and Creative Writing participants are requested to submit their material on
Monday,9th October 2023
